Cross Country

There have been a number of different cross country courses including the 'infamous' Great River Mude Run which was organised by Ken Pilley and the river in Mudeford Wood. The usual course is Burton Common behind Sainsbury's.

The usual course is typically a mass start as significant parts of the course are too narrow to allow faster runners to pass.

The run should take between 25 and 30 minutes and the monthly race handicap should be applied. The event is much like the multi terrain except the course does not include much road (and perhaps more river!). The more mud that can be found the better.
